SHF is dedicated to providing scholarship opportunities for economically underprivileged students from India to pursue their dreams of becoming medical professionals. Through its MBBS Scholarship program, SHF offers comprehensive financial assistance, covering tuition fees, hostel accommodations, living expenses, laptop and other educational costs, to deserving candidates enrolled in 5-year MBBS programs at government medical colleges across India. Its implementation partners are Youth for Seva, Vidya Chenta Program.

Saloni Heart Foundation (SHF) MBBS Scholarship Grants Eligibility Criteria-

1. Students who have scored more than 60% marks in their class 12 board exam (science).
2. Students aspiring "Study Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery",MBBS with Government Medical colleges in India only.
3. Achieved Overall All India Ranking (AIR) in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
4. Students whose family income from all sources, is not more than INR 500,000 per annum.
5. Scholar selection criteria: All eligible applications are reviewed and evaluated. Selection is based on:

A. Financial need.

B. Academic merit.

Award & Conditions to Applicants:

1. Maximum scholarship award of IN 90,000/- (Rupees Ninety Thousand Only), or Tuition, Hostel, Mess and or Books, whichever is lesser this academic year. Laptop may be granted, dependent upon our donation received.

2. The grant is awarded to the selected scholars for 5 Years of MBBS study, paid annually.

3. Your scholarship disbursal is contingent upon the following:
A. Submission of the required documents.
B. Income and background verification.
C. Original Receipts, self-attested marks sheets.

4. During our scholarship term, it is expected that you will continue to maintain high standards of academic performance, attend all monthly sessions & talks from YFS, Vidya Chetana.

5. You are required to maintain high integrity & honesty in all your deeds, not indulge in any form of corruption or illegal activities, or misuse of scholarship funds for any other purpose other than education, a hostel or related activities.

6. Students can be offered summer training in SHF if students qualify and meet the requirements of the organization.

7. SHF has partnership with local implementation partners like Youth for Seva (YFS), Vidya Chetna. The scholars need to abide by their expectations and rules. The communications might come from either organization.

8. To improve management skills, students are expected to do volunteering work with either SHF or YFS, Vidya Chetana for a minimum of 30 days a year. Volunteering activities can be done online or in person based on the availability of students.

9. SHF mandates all its scholars to:
A. Write a quarterly report to be submitted to SHF or its representative, as directed.
B. Write a quarterly (500-600 word) article on medical advancement, study, innovation, etc.

10. For consideration of next year's scholarship renewal, the following are required:

A. High academic performance, college attendance, non-disciplinary action against scholar.
B. Fee receipts paid to the college, hostel or anywhere else.
C. Six monthly verification and/or returns of laptop leased to you by SHF.

11. Scholarship applications must be submitted through the website Portal

12. SHF/ YFS, Vidya Chetana reserves the right to revoke and withdraw this scholarship at any given time without any prior notice, upon discovering :
A. You provided incorrect, false or misleading information or documents or
withheld relevant information during your scholarship application, selection or
after receiving this scholarship offer.
B. Discontinued your education from your institute or have inactive enrollment.
C. Used this scholarship money for any purpose other than your education
D. Failed to maintain satisfactory academic progress or been suspended or excluded from your institute.
E. Been found indulging in misconduct or wrongful conduct with the institute, Saloni Heart Foundation USA, its India nonprofit partners directors or donors.
F. Been made an incorrect scholarship offer as determined by SHF at its sole
discretion.

13. You will be mandated to refund the entire scholarship amount and Laptop that you have received if any of the aforesaid cases are observed. The scholarship payment will be made directly to your bank account only.
14. You will keep SHF/ YFS, Vidya Chetana informed about any other scholarship that you receive/win during this period for which you are receiving our scholarships from SHF.
15. SHF scholarship may be extended/renewed in future years based on the availability of funds received from donors for your education, your eligibility fulfillment and laptop verification or return.
