Dear friends, this year I turned 64. I am fortunate to have a very beautiful wife, 3 children, and 5 lovely grandchildren. I plan to participate in the World Championship of Ironman on Sept 10 in Nice, France. On the race day I will be swimming 2.4 miles (4400 yards) in the ocean, then I will Bike 112 miles and follow that with a full marathon run of 26.2 miles. A feat that challenges the human spirit and strengthens my belief that “Impossible is Nothing”.
It is a great honor for me to be able to dedicate this race to Saloni Heart Foundation.

What are we doing?
SHF is a Bay Area based 501 (c)(3) non-profit dedicated to saving the lives of children born with congenital heart defects (CHD). We are currently establishing the "Saloni Heart Center, Excellence in Children's Heart Care," a 200-bed children's hospital in India, in collaboration with the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh and Pediatric Cardiac Centre Team at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital’s. At full capacity this center will perform 5000 life saving surgeries and medical management for 10000 CHD patients in India each year. This Center of Excellence will also offer super specialized training & skills development through cross pollination of skills
